The influence of falls on the physical and mental wellbeing in older women
Annually, one in three older adults fall at least once. A fall may lead to injury, reduced mobility, fear of falling again, increased dependence and even nursing home admittance. However, little is known about the long-term consequences of a fall on physical and mental wellbeing. This study aims to investigate if and how falls influence the course of mental and physical wellbeing in older women
