Prevalence and treatment of poor mental health over 15 years: findings from the Australian Longitudinal Study on Women's Health
Evidence from Australian and international studies indicates that mental health improves with increasing age. Using data from the ALSWH, we are able to follow the same women, drawn from three different birth cohorts, over time to determine how ageing and increasing mental health diagnosis and treatment affects the prevalence and reporting of poor mental health in women.
