PHRN Linkage Luminaries Webinar
The Australian Longitudinal Study on Women’s Health (ALSWH) is a population-based study which explores the health and wellbeing of over 57,000 Australian women across the lifespan. The Study is funded by the Australian Government to provide a freely available evidence base for policy development and research. For the past 25 years, ALSWH has informed health policy across a wide range of issues including reproduction, ageing, chronic conditions, and social determinants of health. This presentation will describe data linkage and data sharing in ALSWH, and highlight some recent findings:
- the association between maternal depression and children’s early development
- the impact of policy change on Vitamin D testing
- the impact of dementia on health service use in the last two years of life.
