The aims of this report are to investigate the physical and mental health, and use of health and aged care services of older women over time in relation to their roles as carers, if or when they are widowed, and their social and economic circumstances. The purpose of the research is to obtain evidence to inform policy options for the Australian Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA).
