This report was commissioned by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing to examine the feasibility of expanding the Australian Longitudinal Study on Women’s Health (ALSWH) by recruiting additional urban Aboriginal women and Torres Strait Islander women. The discusses ethical issues and the principles of Indigenous research and examines a range of methodological issues specific to expanding the ALSWH and increasing its capability to provide valid and reliable information relating to the health of Indigenous women.
