Changes in use of Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) subsidised services during the COVID-19 pandemic
The COVID-19 pandemic led to the introduction of several new Telehealth items to the MBS to facilitate safe contact between health practitioners and patients. These items do not cover all services, as many services require face to face contact. This project will compare use of GP, Specialist, Allied Health, Midwife, Mental Health and Telehealth services through the MBS before and during the ? COVID-19 pandemic to examine the change in service use during the pandemic.
