Physical activity trajectories and associations with health-related quality of life and mortality outcomes
Synopsis
Most
studies have estimated physical activity (PA) using a single time point. Few studies
have examined the associations between PA trajectories across the lifespan,
which may better reflect true PA patterns, and long-term health outcomes. The
aim of this project is to examine the associations between PA trajectories and health-related
quality of life and mortality outcomes in Australian women. This study's findings will improve knowledge and understanding of PA longitudinal patterns
for improved health in women, and can help inform the development of strategies
for increasing PA among women and improving long-term health outcomes.
