Asthma and fertility in young women: A 25-year cohort study
Synopsis
Asthma
and reproductive factors are associated. Hormonal changes occurring during women’s
reproductive life stages can influence the risk of asthma development. Asthma
in turn has been linked to infertility outcomes. Contradictory evidence
indicates these associations remain inconclusive. The study aims to assess the
association between age of menarche, number of children, and asthma. The study
also aims to examine the association between asthma and miscarriages and how
age influences the association.
