Synopsis

This study will investigate longitudinal associations between urinary continence status at each survey and quality of life (particularly social functioning as measured by the SF-36 social function scales). Associations between urininary incontinence and participation in other roles (such as marital status, caring, grandparenting, volunteering, physical and leisure activities) will also be explored.
