Synopsis

The extent to which people feel in control of their lives appears to have important relationships with health and wellbeing. This project aims to: (a) examine the relationships between life control and a number of measures of wellbeing; (b) examine the extent to which liife control explains socioeconomic gradients on these same variables; and (c) look longitudinally at levels of consistency and change in perceptions of life control.
