Adherence to screening guidelines for mid-age women

Synopsis

The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners recommend screening tests for mid-age women (55-64 years): • Blood pressure - Every 12 months • Cholesterol and lipids - Every 2 years >45 years of age • Every 12 months with increased CV risk and existing chronic disease • Blood sugar - Every 3 years • Skin cancer examination - Opportunistically • Cervical cancer - Every 2 years (women with a cervix ) • Breast cancer- Every 2 years In this project we look at how many women have had these recommended tests, the factors associated with having tests as recommended, and the changes in testing over time.
