Synopsis

Physical activity (PA) has an inverse relationship with a range of chronic conditions, mortality and the occurrence of surgical procedures. However, there is limited research on the association between physical activity and surgery in mid-aged women. The aim of this study is to assess the longitudinal association between physical activity and surgery in mid-aged women.
