Synopsis

This study aims to explore the prevalence, jointly and singly, of depression and anxiety (using the CESD-10 and GADanx, respectively) in the 1973-78 and 1946-51 cohorts; and their changing patterns over time. It also aims to explore rates of self-reported detection and management of these conditions by a health professional; and changing patterns of their detection or management over time.
