Synopsis

Variations exist in access to health care services for a number of reasons related to equity. While most previous studies focus on geographic location, little is known about other potential factors, such as ability to manage on income, self-rated health, and country of birth. The impact of these factors on out of pocket patient costs will be explored over time.
