Contributing factors of Self-Harm in Young Australian Women

Synopsis

We aim to analyze the data collected by ALSWH concerning the 1998-95 cohort to determine the major contributing factors of the occurrence of self-harm in young Australian women. Using logistic regression and the backward elimination method we aim to develop a model that can be used to aid policy makers and health services in the prevention and treatment of self-harm.
