Synopsis

This project aims to look at how many mid?aged women and older women have reported cataract and cataract surgery and cross?check this (where possible) against hospital and Medicare records, The investigators also plan to examine the health and wellbeing of women prior to reporting cataract surgery and how this may change before and after cataract surgery. The investigators are particularly interested in how cataracts (and cataract surgery) may in?uence women’s continued ability to drive.
