Synopsis

This project will be conducted for the Australian Department of Health. We will undertake an analysis of data for the women born in the 1921-26 cohort of the ALSWH to understand health and aged care service use within the two last years of life for women with: • Dementia (including Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia, other dementia) • Heart Disease (including ischemic heart disease, heart failure, other heart disease) • Stroke • Chronic Lung Disease (including asthma, bronchitis and emphysema)
