Assessment of incidence and predictors of hypertension in pregnancy in women with PCOS

Synopsis

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a common disorder that affects women who are of childbearing age. It is associated with many complications including infertility, but also carries increases risk of pregnancy related complications. In this research project, we will compare women with PCOS to those without PCOS over time to try and understand if women with PCOS have increased rates of high blood pressure in pregnancy and the key contributing factors, in particular to study the effect of body weight.
