Synopsis

Endometriosis is a condition that affects girls and women and can have significant impacts for those affected, their families and the population as a whole. Despite its significant impacts, relatively little is known about the prevalence of endometriosis in Australia, with estimates largely based on older data or data from overseas. This project will aim to estimate how many girls and women have endometriosis, in order to improve knowledge of endometriosis and its impact in Australia.
