Synopsis

This project covers key reproductive health issues for women in 2020, namely contraceptive patterns and pregnancy plans (including use of Assisted Reproductive Therapies), perinatal mental health, and menopause. This project will also touch on contraceptive use and pregnancy planning as it relates to the unfolding COVID-19 crisis. This project will be presented in the 2021 Major Report, a key deliverable for the Australian Department of Health. The findings from this report will be used for future policy planning and program development by key government departments and related organisations.
