Positive aspects of caregiving - a cross-country comparison approach

Synopsis

Few studies examine the trajectories of caregivers across their caregiving journey and even fewer, if any, of these focus on the positive aspects of caregiving. Data from the Australian Longitudinal Study on Women's Health will be used to examine how caregiver experiences change across time and identify predictors of positive caregiver experiences. We are interested in not only elucidating the components of positive care interactions but also in sharing this knowledge so that interventions could be developed to enable care partners to have better experiences.
