Prevalence and correlates of reproductive coercion among Australian women.
Synopsis
There are no current studies demonstrating the prevalence of reproductive coercion and abuse (RCA) at the national level in Australia. We aim to examine the prevalence, demographic and health correlates as well as sexual and reproductive health outcomes associated with RCA among Australian women. In addition, we will describe associations between other experiences of violence and RCA. This research will provide much needed evidence regarding RCA to inform the National Plan to end violence against women in a generation.
